2019: The unemployment rate decreased to 3.5%, the lowest rate since 1969.
2020: The unemployment rate reached an all-time high of 14.9% in April.

2022: The unemployment rate was 4.0%.
2023: The unemployment rate was 3.4%.
2024: The unemployment rate was 4% in May, the highest since January 2022.
And when they say Trump was the only president since Hoover to have fewer jobs than when he started that is true. But just like Hoover bad times hit. And just like Hoover Trump by his actions made things worse.
